Subprocessor Notification: LlamaIndex

At Daizy, trust and transparency are core to everything we do. We continuously evolve our platform to provide our clients with secure, reliable, and innovative services. While your organization may not be subject to GDPR, we are providing this notice to all customers as part of our ongoing commitment to privacy, compliance, and openness.

To support new product capabilities and improve our platform, we will introduce a new subprocessor, LlamaIndex, effective August 2025.

Subprocessor Details:

  • Vendor name: LlamaIndex, Inc.
  • Processing location: United States
  • Purpose of processing: LlamaIndex is used to process customer-uploaded documents (such as reports and other artifacts) and return structured outputs to support features including document parsing, automation, and AI-powered insights.
  • Data processed: Uploaded documents, request metadata (IP address, browser user agent, referrer, cookie data, and link data).

LlamaIndex may process your organization’s personal data (as defined by the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) in connection with the services. This notice serves as formal notification about LlamaIndex as a new subprocessor.

All data processed by LlamaIndex remains subject to strict confidentiality under the terms of sub-processing agreements.

LlamaIndex has been assessed and approved in accordance with our internal processes.

If your organization has a legitimate objection to the use of LlamaIndex as a subprocessor, you may notify us in writing at privacy@daizy.com within 30 days of this notice. We will work with you in good faith to address your concerns. Please note that LlamaIndex is integral to certain platform features and, as such, it may not be possible to continue using parts or all of the service if you choose to object to this subprocessor. Continued use of our services after this period will be deemed acceptance of this subprocessor.
